I just had a voicemail from Prometrics calling to confirm my appointment for noon tomorrow and they said that they opened at 7:30am and I could come in any time between then and 11am if I wanted too and if not to arrive 30 mins prior to my test… does this mean I can go in and test earlier than noon???? When I registered noon was the earliest seat available… have tried calling but of course can not get a real person???? anyone else encounter this? Thanks!

and they ask me why I drink...

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

    You can come in early

Yes, I had multiple slots open up and they would always call and ask me if I wanted to come in early than I was scheduled. Usually, these are last minute cancellations.

    FAR - Passed (82)
    BEC - Passed (76)
    AUD - Passed (89)
    REG - Passed! (81)

I haven't gotten a call saying I was able to come in early, but I have sometimes called to see if I could come early, and/or just showed up early and hoped. All Prometric tests that I've taken (I've taken non-CPA exams at Prometric, too) have required a drive to get there, and I'd rather leave early and get there early and hope to test early than risk running into construction and being late. My last test, REG, I called to see if I could test early (earliest slot available when I scheduled was 6, but I hated the thought of an evening test…), so left in time to start the test at like 1 or 2 cause they had cancellations so had computers available. Had car trouble, ended up getting there at 6:25, they said if I wasn't logged in to the computer by 6:30 the test wouldn't load, it was probably like 6:28 or 6:29 as I entered my launch code. Stressful! But so glad I went early.

Point, though, is that it's not at all unusual for there to be openings earlier in the day, if you call and ask about it, especially if your Prometric isn't very busy. It is more unusual, though, for them to call and tell you about it. Wonder if they're hoping to close early tomorrow cause someone's got holiday weekend plans? lol.

I got this call for both of my exams so far. That just means they aren’t overly booked that morning. So go in whenever you feel ready.
