Hey guys,

I have probably asked this in the past, but looking for a new set of ideas. I passed all 4 sections and still need 17 more credits. As of right now I don’t plan on going for my Master’s so I just need credit in anything because I have already satisfied the accounting & business courses. What is the fastest/most cost effective way to take the last few additional credits I need?

First off Big time Congratulations! Big time accomplishment.

The cheapest and fastest way to get the credits are CLEP and DSST courses which you can take at your local community college.

A friend of mine was short 13 credits and did just that. Passed the exam last March – Took CLEP/DSST courses at Nassau Community College during the summer and their application was sent to the Board in September and then received their CPA license in December. Hope this helps.
