Hello Ninjas,

I have a few Qs.
Once you paid your fees on NASBA’s site how long does it take to get your NTS? Will I get it by mail or email?
Planning on taking FAR on Dec 10, since it is an extension window (say I didn’t pass) can I take FAR again in January? Or dec exam refers to Jan and Feb as the same tasting window?

From my experience of applying for the NTS online, you will receive the NTS via email in less than a week. The extension in December is an extension of the Q4 window. If you do not pass in December you can retake in Q1 in January.

Most states you receive your NTS within 2-3 days. Some states is longer (CA I think I've heard). The December test would be part of the 4th quarter 2016 and January would be part of 1st quarter 2017 so you could take both if needed.

Keep in mind that you may not be able to schedule. As of two days ago my local testing site only offered up until Dec 8th. Probably less open dates now.
