Not sure if I should move on to next subject or study again for REG

I walked out of REG this past weekend feeling like I totally bombed it. My question testlets went from Medium to Hard to Medium/Easier. Sim’s were a joke and I think I completely bombed them. I’m waiting for my score on 3/9 and dont feel hopeful at all. Could be nerves but realistically I don’t think I did well..

Do you guys think I should continue studying for REG and take it again in April or move on to my next subject?

Might as well just wait since the score release is so soon. If it was 5-6 weeks of waiting I would say start something new.

    Wait. It's only a week.

    BEC - 77, 03/2015 (first try)
    FAR - 79, 05/2015 (second try)
    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

I got 99 problems but the CPA ain't one.

I'm sorry you feel so bad about it. Given it's only a week until score release, I'd take some time off and give yourself a break. Maybe do some rounds of MCQ's to keep your memory fresh, but you need some time to reboot. I would suggest studying for a retake because otherwise you are going to forget so much more information if you wait.

@Jdn9201 Thanks for your kind words.

I think I'm going to stick with the REG. Realistically speaking, I had 2 research questions (which i've heard means that 1 of them is the tester) and 4 very hard Simulations. One of which didn't specify if I was to put 0s or leave blank and I decided to put 0s. The others I just didnt feel that confident and to score a 75 seems a little impossible. The MCQs were harder than the Becker HW questions that I burned through intensively. I am trying to be confident about myself but at the same time have to be realistic.

Moving forward, I'm going to purchase NINJA Notes and MCQ's and spend the next 4 weeks really grinding it out again to do better. I saw where I fell short on the exam and realized I should've spent more time learning the stuff and memorizing it rather than doing MCQ's and flipping to the page that the question was about and answering it and moving on. I read everywhere that everyone was doing MCQ's to study but really didnt “understand” why I was doing what in the question. I never really even looked at the flashcards that Becker provided until the end for the acronyms/mnemonics.

If anyone has any advice, needs more info on my study methods, or has anything at all please do tell! I have Becker and the Final Review.

I took what was hopefully my last exam on the 27th. I am studying an hour a night and no mcqs until score release, then reassess once I find out my score.

I guess just wait for now, you just need to wait few days. You can't just forget everything in 9 days. You'll remember it when you review again if ever. I took my REG on the 17th and need to wait 3 weeks so I started to do ETHICS. Now, just one more week left for the result but I don't expect a passing score since I completely bombed all my SIMS even research.

In addition, you have almost whole month of March to review if ever. Just try to relax sometimes.
