    Did any one of you noticed that. Not many people passing CPA exam posting there scores here on this forum. I have reason to believe that failing percentage is quite high. I only see few people passing and posting there score here on this forum.

    I have been following this forum regularly. I am surprised to see the percentage of passing candidates posting here. They are not many as far as I can see.

    Thanks golfball. Seems like 6 out of every 10 CPA candidates fail. There is some difference across sections.

    That’s what makes becoming a CPA so valuable, there aren’t that many of them. Having low passing rates on the exams only makes CPAs more valuable.

    I agree. It confirms the difficulty of passing these exams. The thread Ninja MCQ vs. Actual has only 25 pages. I believe this forum has over 1000 members. I don't see many people passing there first CPA exam

    Exactly Andy! If it was easy everyone would be doing it. Just like Doctors. Rather have the passing rate low than high. Look at law school applicants.. becoming a dime a dozen.

    @IB553

    What did you do differently for AUD and how did it feel this time around when compared to your first attempt?

    BEC - 78 (August 2015)
    FAR - 80 (November 2015)
    AUD - 73, 67. (Ok I gotta confess I was even more lazy this time around)

    Note that it's 4 out of 10 pass on any given attempt (like that if you were taking the exam in a room with 9 other people, statistically 4 of you would pass the day you took that exam), not that 4 out of 10 pass eventually. The AICPA doesn't release (that I've ever seen) rates of how many people eventually pass, but I think the general estimate is that around 80% of people who start the exam process eventually pass all the exams; on the flip side, another stat that the AICPA doesn't release but the general estimation is that only about 20-25% of people pass all the exams on their first try at them. However, for any specific exam (say, FAR), the first-time pass rate will be higher than 20-25% (since someone might pass 3 out of 4 on their first try so not count in the 20-25% that passed all on the 1st try, but still be in the 1st-try-pass category for 3 of their 4 exams).

    Regarding the people posting on here, you've got to keep in mind that this is only a small portion of the people who are taking the exams and that generally the people who are struggling the most are the people who post here the most. Also that not everyone who posts here regularly posts when they get their score back. Lastly, not everyone on here uses the Ninja products, so the Ninja trending score vs. actual score thread is only people on here who use Ninja who come back to post there score, so definitely just a small subset. Personally I've posted a looooooot more after finishing the exams than I did while taking the exams, but I honestly don't remember if I came on here and posted whether I'd passed or not after getting my scores. I was in a non-NASBA state, so probably only posted when scores were out if I was aware of other KY candidates waiting on scores, and then just to let them know that KY scores were up.

    @Thehoundthatrides. The first time around I did not completed all Ninja Mcqs and sims. Only used Wiley for my prep. The second time I did all Ninja Mcqs and SIMS. I also took one practice test and scored 82 on that. First time when i took AUD I felt like I had passed. But I was wrong. Still close to passing. SIMS destroyed my score
    I feel I did better this time om SIMS. Still no idea about MCQs.

    AUD is highly unpredictable. So, will figure out on 24. What about you? What changes you did since last time?
