Not Getting NASBA emails (CA Applicant)

    I applied for a a retake through the CBA (California) and when my Payment Coupon was ready I did not receive an email from NASBA, and also did not get one when my NTS was ready. I figured out they were available through my CBA account.

    I’ve sat for AUD, BEC, and FAR before and I never had this issue. Has anyone had this experience, and what did you do? I called NASBA and they claimed that it is my email provider (gmail) that is blocking the emails. I even checked my SPAM folder and it is not there.

    I dont understand how I would receive their emails before, and now they are just “magically” blocked.

    I just had this experience as well. I figured out how to pay the payment coupon through NASBA from an old CPA email.

    Were you able to get the actual NTS? And/or the number so that you could sign up for exams?

    I had the same exact experience (I'm in PA). I called my state board and spoke to someone there. They said to visit the website and you can print the NTS directly from the website. I'm not sure how the CBA is laid out, but I had to go to “exams” then “reprint my NTS.”

    Very strange that our NTS emails are either getting blocked, sent to spam, or just not getting sent at all (in my case). It's causing a lot of people to have to reschedule their exams for inopportune times. I was angry about it as should you.

    @Teal Yeah when I saw on my CBA account that an NTS was issued, I went over to the https://nasba.org/exams/cpaexam/ and clicked Re-print NTS.

    So its not that big of a problem considering we can pay and then retrieve the NTS, I'm more worried about missing future emails from them which could be important. Is there cause to be concerned here or am I just over thinking this?

    I paid today by finding it through NASBA. At like 2 p.m. My NTS is already available and I just signed up, but I did not get an email!! Not in spam either. Not sure what is going on, they've got an issue they will need to listen to us eventually.

    I've just paid for the exams today. Don't know when I should expect to receive NTS to schedule the exams.
    I need to take the exam by Sept 10.
    It's frustrated. 🙁
