"No Show" when you took the test?!

    Hi all,

I took BEC this past Sunday, but when I went on my exam account this morning, it says “No Show.” I have tried to get a hold of NASBA all day, but no answer. I’m freaking out! Has anyone had this happen before?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Hmm… that's crazy. Do you still have your confirmation of attendance?

They give you a paper with a seal at the end of the exam … I would hope that would take care of it. I am sure it is a fixable error. I have read about people closing their exams improperly and nothing showing up in their exam account and it always seems to be fine.

no answer at NASBA doesn't sound right, either. check the number again. can you call prometric center where you tested to see if they uploaded your exam without problems?

@Biff, yes, fortunately I do have the confirmation page. It's just strange because I didn't reschedule or use the wrong NTS or anything that other people have come across as the problem. It should have been a straight forward process!
I'm just hoping they don't lose my data. Prometric seems to have such unreliable computer systems…

@MaLoTu – Thanks for the reassurance! I mean, the test was stressful enough. I don't need these extra problems popping up!

@monikernc – Calling Prometric is a good idea. It sucks testing in CA because NASBA can't tell you anything. You have to go through a separate correspondent who never picks up the phone!! >:(

One of my exams the test didn't upload to the server correctly and they said they had never had that happen before. I FREAKED (internally). They gave me the notarized paper and said if nothing shows up _in a month_ they have a process for trying to get it recovered or to take a retake. They said this like it was no big deal! I totally threw up but felt confident they had gotten the results. Test score popped up fine and on time, but it gnawed at me for quite awhile.

Not to hijack the thread, but after you take an exam and you login to cpacentral, in the “cpa exam status” table, should it say something after you take an exam but haven't received a score yet? mine just says n/a in the score column, but it doesn't say anything under the status column
