    Hi Everyone,

I’m hoping someone here can help. I recently received my FL CPA license and I’m looking to obtain my license in GA. I think I am a reciprocal applicant, but not 100% certain. I’ve emailed the GA board because from what I’m reading, they also require transcripts, test score verification, and a signed work experience document. I’d rather my boss not know that I want a GA license, and I don’t want to jump through all of the hoops to get all of the paperwork again. Does anyone have experience with reciprocal licensing?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately, that's what you have to do. I will be getting licensed in IL and WI so I have looked into this numerous times. Since each state has slightly different requirements, the burden is on you to prove you meet them all. Everything except retaking all the exams you will have to do again. The FL board should be able to send what them have, though, so be sure to go on their website and request that they send it. There will most likely be a fee involved.
