Wow. I think I would have traded 1 sim for 24 questions in FAR in a New York minute!!! That is insane.

Doesn't look any more difficult on the face of it. People are just afraid of change. The same % of people will pass. It's not a big deal. Study patterns should remain the same.

The biggest issue with the change is the timing of score releases in Q2 for those of us who have exams expiring in Q2-Q3. Other than that, I'd agree, not too different on face value.

The “new” exam won't end up being a big deal (my opinion) as far as how people study.

That's interesting they are putting all the MCQ's in 2 testlets and breaking out the TBS's into 3 testlets.

Have they stated how many will be pre-test questions? Will it be the same number or will the change the number of MCQ's since they are reducing those?

The part that scared me the most was the weight of MCQ and SIMS. For my tests I did good on the MCQ and the SIMS gave me trouble (especially the first two takes of audit). The 60/40 is much better than the 50/50 for me. And that long wait for the Q2 scores. I am just glad I was able to (barely) make the cutoff.
