Hello all,

I’ll be attending a networking event and I took a look a list of the firms who’ll be attending. How do I approach or do I even bother approaching the firms that rejected me?

Firm 1: On-campus interview 1.5 yrs ago, did not advance that stage; referred by an employee last summer, did not get a call

Firm 2: Had an office interview last summer, did not get offer; submitted an application for same position last week, rejected within 24 hours

Firm 3: Interview at their location over a year ago but no offer; the same person who interviewed me will be in attendance.

Any other tips or advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

I would just treat them the same as anyone else in the room and network with them. You never k now what the outcome may be. Sometimes on paper you may not look good or make the cut. However, if you impress them in person they may reconsider you.
