I did not pass BEC. Received 71. I used Roger and added some practice questions towards my weak areas (IT & ECON) on Ninja MCQ. I was planning to take the AUD in May. But would you please give me advice?

Q1: Should I start AUD or should I re -study BEC?
Q2: For those of you have passed the BEC with roger and/or Ninja, how did you guys studied and passed?…

I have passed only REG so far. I am very sad.

    I made a 67, 73, 74 and now a 81.

From the 74 to the 81, i just cranked out as many MCQs as possible, aim for a 80 trending score. 2 hours a day – be consistent.

and two weeks before the exam, i began to write the ninja notes. Hope that helps.

@fguong Thank you. May I ask you how long did it take you to re-take the test? I looked under prometric, the earliest I can take is on 4/3 or 4/10. Do you think 2 weeks will be enough? (I will study everyday except 8 hours of working).

i honestly think it is – its just review at this point.

Continue to work MCQ, it'll show you your weak areas and why you're getting them wrong.

The more you do, the more it'll reveal.

Yes, I will write the ninja notes too as you suggested. I am just worried about the SIMULATIONS that they will be adding on this new test.

From the 73 to 74, i took it back to back (end of quarter, start of new quarter) – but i honestly don't think i was studying as hard compared to the 74 to 81.

In between the 74 to the 81, I had to take reg twice before i did bec again. I also did reg twice back to back. went from a 69 to a 75 for reg.

Honestly, if i was too fail, even with the new simulations, i think i would just continue to knock out MCQ, I learned best that way.

Damn sorry to hear, I failed far and reg with a 73 and 74 using roger. However once I did ninja mcq I passed the first time. I got an 89 with Bec by doing a large amount of multiple choice and reading every answer including the wrong ones. It and coso are difficult because the exam questions are harder than the practice questions. I recommend doing extra multiple choice and re reading the roger book especially those chapters. Keep at I got two 74's the first time and passed each one the second

    REG 2/26/2016 74. 4/2/2016 79

@fquong Thank you. I will knock out MCQ everyday. I agree, I think I learned more by doing the problems.

@jstaella1993 Thank you. I will focus on MCQ and reading every answers especially IT and COSO (my weak areas)

    Thank you.

Personally, I would have suggested taking FAR first but ok, we are here now. I recommend sticking with BEC until you pass as it will be more difficult later to cover all of that material without it being fresh in your mind.

BEC is fresh, keep going and knock that out first. You don't want to stop BEC while you have momentum then come back almost 2 months later and try and start again. You have to pass it so knock it out while it is fresh. Push back AUD if you need.

I would honestly recommend FAR before AUD. I think concurring the beast FAR makes AUD much easier to handle. Essentially you have to Audit Financials based on following GAAP (For the most part) which is the backbone of FAR.

Of course you have to do what make sense for you, but this is my suggestion.

@jms10101 I have taken FAR AUD BEC REG and so far passed only REG.
BEC 71, FAR 68, AUD 68. Most of the time, (like how I am feeling today) I am thinking, maybe this test is not for me.. I honestly think I passed REG, because I do that everyday (taxes)…I knew the topic on top of my head. When I took the exam, I could not even tell if it were medium/hard because everything seemed smooth. Other than that one time REG experience, all other tests did not work. But I will try it one more time. Hope this time I can make it. I truly appreciate all of your advices. Thank you.

Ya IT and coso was a big chunk of my test I would recommend reading some supplementary information on them like the coso pdf

    AUD 5/27/16 74 &#%!! 7/13/2016 86!
    BEC 8/17/2016
    FAR 11/04/2015 73, 1/4/2016 75 (phew!)
    REG 2/26/2016 74. 4/2/2016 79

@cpa83, Just my personal opinion. You are not at a point yet to decide to quit the exams. Just need some fine tuning. Some people fail and fail and fail, those people should realize that they do not have what it takes. With greater discipline and sacrifice, you'll get there.
