OK so I am using Becker, and I always trip up on the last few boxes in the research question. I know Becker has videos on how to use codification but I would like some feedback on here.

BEFORE I get to my question, let me ask this, on the actual CPA exam is the research question as simple as (and what I mean by simple is the entry for answer process) , as simple as entering the section where a certain section would be found, or could there be journal entry research questions where we would have to type in journal entries?

The question is on the last two pages and it goes like : In year 2 Blango Co determined functional currency….

My question : Can someone please outline step by step how I would go and find the answer step by step? Would I type in functional currency subsidiary change or something in research tool?

Last question : How similar is Becker SIMS research and actual CPA research tool?

I think the actual exam will just ask you to look up the section/subsection where a topic is found, if Ninja MCQ's sims are similar to what is on the exam.

For the blango question, you could start by searching for “functional currency” or something similar, then either read through the results or search within the original results for “financial statements” or “restate” might work as well.
