I am starting my CPA Journey again. I am planning to take FAR. Any suggestions how to approach FAR. Previously I took FAR and AUD in 2016 but failed both (was just using Ninja 10 Point Combo). I don’t want to fail again and just finish this up. What study strategies everyone applied? I see lot of candidates with really good scores in 80s and 90s. I appreciate with all suggestions from anyone.

    FAR - August 2016
    AUD - September 2016
    REG - October 2016
    BEC - November 2016

Ultimately, it will depend on how you learn best. For me, I had multiple failures with Wiley. Switched to pretty much strictly Ninja and finally found success. The test bank was invaluable as I just hammered MCQs instead of reading through all the materials again. But for some, that approach won’t work. All the programs can help you succeed as long as you put the work in. All of them have a trial period, so that’s where I would start to figure out which one would work best. Good luck!

    AUD - 56 - 68 - 61 - 9/8/16
    REG - 75
    FAR - 7/15/16
    BEC - TBD

@KJ you really don't need out permission to start. So make a plan, use your calendar to plan out your study time. Ninja is good if you don't want to spend more money on review materials. Jump in. You are already aware of the type of dedication necessary, so jump in. I feel like i'm starting again since I have not passed any parts yet, but I am going to take a little different approach. Hope this helps.

    It begins with a 75

Thanks @Jennifer & @Tncincy. I definitely have a plan in place and hope to conquer this beast.

I took a break in 2015 after passing AUD and failing FAR twice. Last September I decided I wanted to give it one more honest shot. I HATE to study and the only thing I could MAKE myself do was MCQ's. I still had about 9 months left on Roger so I just did Roger MCQ's. I studied for 3-4 weeks for each section and I tried to make myself do 90% of the MCQ's which I never really accomplished. I would only do MCQ's I hadn't seen before and I would try to understand each one. I would do 30-100 a day depending on the section. FAR and all the calculations would be much lower while AUD I could go through pretty quick. I passed FAR in October and took off Nov and Dec due to the holidays. Started studying REG right after Christmas and took it and passed mid Jan. Took AUD (lost credit) in early March and then waited until the end of May for BEC because I hate waiting for my score and I needed a break from studying. Don't over stress it and you will get there.

    FAR -- 11/9/15 74 OUCH --Retake Jan 9,2016
    AUD - 11/30/15 75
    REG - Jan 2016
    BEC - Feb 2016
