I am starting my first exam FAR post April 1 so it will already be post exam changes. I’ve started studying for FAR and submitted my application so no NTS yet. I’m trying to figure out when to schedule my exams and am I crazy trying to complete it by Dec 10th? The long score release window is making me second guess when I should schedule FAR was thinking early april.

Currently since I already have a trip planned for 4 days in early April that I cant change with my family, this is what I’m thinking

FAR April 20-21st, gives me 8-9 days from when I get back from my 4 day vacation

REG July 1st, 10 weeks after FAR (should I push FAR out another week or so, so I have more time and not such a big gap, thinking I only need 8 weeks max to study for each part

BEC Aug 18th-19th, 7 weeks post REG

AUD Oct 13th-14th, 8 weeks post BEC

I know I’m not guaranteed to pass each part but I need to at least plan and than can push a section back if needed and try to complete by DEC 10th.

Any thoughts, scheduling advice you can give will be greatly appreciated

It really depends on whether you are working full time or not and whether you are in Audit / Tax. Personally, I scheduled a week for each chapter, and then 3 weeks to review because by the time you get to the last chapter, you have forgotten chapter 1. It takes about a week to jog your memory and then 2 weeks of solid review. However, I work full-time so I've to give myself at least a week per chapter (sometimes 1 1/2 weeks). You also have to consider that life gets in the way. Also, since the exams will have already changed, you don't need to rush to get all the exams done by December.

    BEC – 85
    FAR – 91
    REG – 2/4/17
    AUD – 3/10/17
