Need advice- cram FAR for three weeks or focus on REG

    Hi,

Long story short, I’ve passed AUD and BEC, my NTS for FAR will expire in three weeks so I’ve scheduled it already (mid November). However, I took a new job after the first two exams and haven’t been able to study for FAR (new job jitter, long commute- an hour drive one way). With my current schedule I already knew that I will need more time for FAR, but I thought I would just give it a try with expiring NTS. I have also scheduled REG at the end of current testing window (six weeks away). Would you guys suggest me to continue studying for FAR, or just completely focus on REG (six weeks left)?

I am also concern about the 2018 revenue recognition change. If I continue studying for FAR (low chance of passing this window), I will have to learn the new rules when I prepare for retake next year.

Please kindly excuse my bad grammar- not native speaker

    Thanks in advance!

I have been studying for FAR since end of August, and taking it on November 17th and worried that 3 weeks won't be enough to review-unless you are cramming full time, i can't see how it can be done….REG is the same. There is a lot there and none of it is intuitive….You can try, but I feel like either way you will have lost that money you paid for the NTS….

Focus on Reg, you have a shot of studying and passing that one in 6 weeks if you commit the time to it.
If you are going to lose the NTS anyway then sit for the exam, get a feel for the sims.
Cramming for FAR in 3 weeks would be a waste of 3 weeks in my opinion that you can use towards REG.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I think at this point I will start studying REG for the next six weeks.
