I recently took REG and did not feel too good about it. I do not find out my score until the 21st but I am considering whether or not I should start studying again for REG or take another part. At this point it would make much more sense for me to start studying for FAR considering June is a blackout month. That would give me about 2 months to study and take FAR in May. What do you guys think?

I say take at least a week off to relax, and then start studying for FAR. No point in studying for REG when you might have passed. I almost did the same thing when I thought I failed FAR but glad i didn't cause I ended up passing.

@tygolfer would you recommend staying with FAR regardless of what happens with REG? It would make sense to start restudying for REG because its already fresh but the exam is changing anyways…..

Unless you're close to losing credit for an exam, I'd take the time off and wait for your score. Hoping you passed, but in the event you don't, you're better off staying with REG since it's still fresh in your head.

Personally, I'd move on to FAR, pass it in Q2 and then come back to REG if you need to. It was really hard for me to re-review REG back-to-back when it was my last section. I think 2 months is too long to study for FAR. I'd start studying right now and shoot for a take in late April.. You could even squeeze in a reg retake (if needed) at the end of May. Take it seriously and get it over with, then move on with the rest of your life.

You think that its a good idea to move onto a new section even when another section is already fresh? Having a hard time with this…
