So I’ve been waiting to get an email with the breakdown of weaker, stronger, comparable and I still haven’t gotten it. I got my official score on the 3/8 release date. I’m applying for North Carolina so do they just not do a score breakdown? Someone I have classes with told me that some states have done away with letting candidates know the breakdown. Is this true?

I am in NC and the score report is mailed a few weeks after it is released online. The breakdown of your exam will be on the back. They have added some online features but I don't think it includes score related info. You can email directly or after you login there is a comment form you can submit. They usually respond within 24 hours. You can also call. They are a great staff of people. Busy but helpful.

Found this on the NC CPA Board Facebook page. Hope it helps.

After the Examination, candidate responses are forwarded to the AICPA for scoring. The responses are identified by Examination Section ID only. When advisory scores and performance information become available, the AICPA forwards them to NASBA for processing, which involves matching the scores and performance information to individual candidates. You can check your score on the NASBA Gateway. NASBA then forwards the scores to our Board. We usually get a packet of score notices anywhere from 5-10 business days after the AICPA announces that it has sent the scores to NASBA. When the packet arrives it is given to the Exam staff person who reviews each of the score notices and takes care of some administrative/in-house tasks and then we gets to stuffing envelopes. Then that score notice is on its way to you, the anxious, worried, panicky candidate.
