NASBA Taking more than Six Weeks

NASBA stated that it would take six weeks to process the first-time application for a NTS. Well, I applied on 6/12/18 with all my transcripts submitted well in advance and today after six weeks NASBA notified me that it would be an additional two weeks to “review it for accuracy.” Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? If so, what was the result? Did they take even more time then the two weeks? Because, with the way this is going I am going to get my NTS the same week I take the exam, because I plan on traveling right after I take it.

So just a heads up, once you get the NTS you still need to reserve a seat, and the closer you get to the test date, the less likely the test center will be to have your seat available.

    Hi ! I'm having a similar problem.

Also can any of you guide me what's the next step after I receive the evaluations from NASBA ?

Thanks, yeah that is what I am concerned about with this. I am worried about having a testing seat the week I need it.
