ParticipantHas anyone been able to access/register for the new NASBA gateway 2.0? I went on nasba.org, but I do not see anything different nor do I see a link to register. Based on the email, the new website was going to launch at 8 am central time.
Please let me know.
Thanks 🙂

InactiveI made my new Gateway account, is it supposed to have my old scores on there too?
March 7, 2018 at 7:46 am #1726637SGood
ParticipantNo, old scores will not be posted. It will only show the current exam scores for the window and only for a limited amount of time (like for 30 days from when it's received.)

ParticipantI can't get on. I signed up successfully but it does a 404 Error or other type of error every time I try to log on. I emailed them yesterday and still haven't heard back from them…. so, kind of stuck I guess. Luckily I don't need anything yet. Is it typical that it takes them this long to respond to a support email?

ParticipantFYI,
I too had many of the same issues posted above.
-received a 404 error when clicking on the link send to my email.
-could not log on to the system. But I just successfully paid my NTP.
Calling NASBA did not solve my problem, but here is what did.
There are 3 logons at NASBA to 3 separate systems. Which they do not explain.
1) Member Portal. https://nasba.secure.force.com/ I believe this is the old gateway and no longer valid.
2) CPA Central. https://cpacentral.nasba.org/ This is for people who apply directly to NASBA and do not have a state board of accountancy. (I'm from VA so this doesn't apply)
3) NASBA Gateway 2.0 https://nasba.org/blog/2018/03/05/cpa-exam-gateway-2-0/ (Click on the hyperlinked image on this post to access gateway 2.0)
You would think they would have removed the old links and had clear link to the new gateway 2.0 on the home page. But they did not, so I hope this helps.March 7, 2018 at 3:43 pm #1727128SGood
Participant1) The member portal is where executive directors for the board of accountancy login.
2) Yes
3) There are no more links for old GW sites, the only link that ever went to a GW site for the candidates was the old MYSCORE@nasba.org where you accessed the score. Which is pretty much the same process. You start at CPA Central and either apply online there (for cpaes states) or you get redirected to GW for other things like paying the payment coupon, reprinting an NTS, everything else they listed and which is repeated through multiple posts here. The new NASBA SSO Site is used for viewing your scores (for those states that allow NASBA to release them), pay for your payment coupons, pay the international testing fee, pay the Guam surcharge fee, and to access your NTS. First off, if you need to get an NTS, you have to create an account. The NTS's will no longer be mailed with a PDF. you will get an email that states you have an NTS available for download. Then you log onto your NASBA SSO site and print the NTS. Yes, the non-cpaes states have their own identifier number which they issued to the candidate and transmitted to us, if you cannot get that number from your board you would need to contact your NCD coordinator here to obtain that number. For the CPAES States, they require your JUR ID, which is listed on your CPA Central Account once you log in. Its on the top right hand side of the page, remove any leading zero's before using it to create your account on the NASBA SSO site. Some issues arise because they use different information than what is currently in their system. If you changed your email address with your state board or NASBA, but never applied for a new NTS after the change, then that “update” never made it to the gateway system, so your email address possibly are not matching up. The new thing about this NASBA SSO Site, is that it was always there… in spirit. Anytime you reprinted an NTS, or viewed your score you were being redirected to the GW system. There was just never a log in for it. Having this log in now puts the candidates in more control. CPA Central will still be used by all CPAES candidates to apply for the exam. The NASBA SSO Site has no drop down menu's so yea, if you are not seeing something in a drop menu, you are in the wrong place… candidate-portal.nasba.org is the website. Also, dont try logging in with your CPA Central credentials or do the “forgot password” thats a different login. Everyone will have to register in this new system. Other posts have had people mention not having the countdown clock, well, that has been removed it was always just a placebo, it never guaranteed when NASBA would release the scores because NASBA had to wait until the AICPA transmitted the scores before they could be posted and the countdown just went until the release day. Now, with the new GW system, “supposedly” you will get an email when your specific score is loaded, just like you do when your NTS is loaded. We shall see…

ParticipantI am trying to register for an account on Gateway site and I am getting this error message “Invalid combination of user information. Gateway User not found”
I am definitely entering the right information. Does anyone else having this issue?

ParticipantOyin – This was the most annoying/frustrating process ever.
Jurisdiction ID is just the first two letters of your state and then the Candidate ID is going to be your jurisdiction ID # following the two letters. Make sure to take out the 0 if there is one in-between your state letters and your ID #. Hope this helps.

ParticipantHow do you pay/apply for the NTS on the new NASBA Gateway 2.0 site? I can't find any link that could direct me to apply/pay for the NTS. Can someone help me regarding this matter?
March 10, 2018 at 3:24 pm #1732539Operation_CPA
ParticipantYou still apply and pay on CPA Central – I just did this the yesterday. The only difference is your NTS will be on the new portal. Hope this helps!

SpectatorI'm in NY and wasn't able to get on until today. I had to enter my jurisdiction ID without the NY in front and without any leading zeros for it to work. Pretty sure I tried doing this same thing last week and it didn't work until this morning.

ParticipantWill our scores appear on the OLD NASBA login as well as the new portal?
I've had nightmarish issues with the new NASBA portal. My NCD Coodinator (OHIO) is out until 3/26/18 and my State Coordinator has not responded to my emails or voicemails.
The new portal will not work when I click my verification email. I AM 100% sure that my State jurisdiction ID is correct because I received the link to register my account. The link is dead. I did receive an email notifying me of a successful login, even though I HAVE NOT successfully logged in. I'm looking to get my BEC results on 3/20/18 🙂
Does anyone have any advice?
Kindly,
OH

ParticipantPaid for NTS REG on 3/6 and still haven't received, yet I've been charged. Called and spent an hour on hold to only be told I have to talk to ONE person…. who is out on vacation this entire week. I have been trying to get ahold of her supervisor every day this week and can't get a response. Today I finally got his email and now all the emails aren't going thru and saying they are blocked (I've tried sending from a 2 different emails as well). I'm livid!!!! The girl I spoke to said that the system messed up when they converted and they are trying to get all the people who were on hold taken care of. Terrible customer service!
