Exam is 5 weeks away, in addition to banging out multiple choice questions I could either rewrite my notes OR review flashcards. I can’t do both due to time constraints. Which would you do?

For me personally rewrtiting the notes is a far better use of time than flashcards especially if doing MCQ.

Your exam is in 5 weeks? You have plenty of time to do both! And about the notes, you could just reread them, (instead of writing them.) I always reread my noted numerous times- I've never rewritten them. For my last test (REG) I had 130 pages of hand written notes. It took forever to review them (I'd review half or a third in a day,) but it was well worth it.

I think you should rewrite your notes, read them, do mcq, take notes, do more mcq's and repeat the process over and over again, I was able to raise my score around 30 points doing that process, and I was not an accounting major at university. Best of luck to u 🙂

I remember reading out loud my flashcards repeatedly, as if I was practicing a speech, and my hubby and infant were the audience. At every round, the cards I could remember were put to the side, for a final practice the morning of the exam. There would be less and less cards every time I recited them, thus taking less time each round. I could then use the time I didn't use on something else, like mcq or rewriting the notes I had trouble with.
