Is there any rule like – candidates must pass all sections of the Uniform CPA examination within the six (6) consecutive examinations following the examination in which credit was received?

I never heard this but I’m aware of the eighteen months rule.

not that I know of. You can only take each exam one time per quarter, so that basically equates to six attempts.

By each exam, you mean each part, right? But theoretically you can take 4 parts in one quarter. And then can take the failed parts in the next quarter. I think that makes it 6 quarters, not 6 examinations. But, toady I received an email from Texas State Board saying- “The Public Accountancy Act provides that candidates must pass all sections of the Uniform CPA examination within the six (6) consecutive examinations following the examination in which credit was received.”

You have 18 months (six windows) after your first pass to finish the rest or you lose credit for that first exam.
