I’ve been trying to find a way to private message mtaylo23 about his study strategy but there’s no private message option. Does anyone know his study strategy and how he was able to study for 3 exams in a quarter? I’ve been taking the exam for as long as him and I only passed 1 part.

Mtaylo 23 is a legend. That guy has got some perseverance. After a glance at his score signature he took the exams in total like 14 + times. He gave me the motivation to keep going for sure.

I don't have an answer to your question but maybe try emailing Jeff ?

BUMP this post. I have been studying for almost 2 years and Either I will be done at year end or be 1/4 done- 2 scores dropping back to back. I know Mtaylo made a post about his journey before but I don't have it bookmarked.

talk about pressure IwannabeCPA. Either you celebrate for the holidays big time, or you drown in misery/depression and basically back to square 1. best of luck. exercise and XANAX tend to help

I have never taken FAR but I heard its a beast. If you work FT maybe take the week leading up to exam off and study like 50 hours that week ?

You could try searching his username in the search box… you can go to his profile and look at all his topics started and replies created.. I'm sure somewhere in there he has given advice on how he finally finished!

@Shawn, the pressure is real. My boss just said need to pass this time, not sure if he meant I will be on the line of the chopping block.

    Iwannabe-

Its funny you said that about your boss. I told my boss this morning I am taking a part in DEC and have to pass or else I lose 1 part (back down to 2 parts). He did not seem to care one bit. I am the one that actually brought the conversation up b/c I need to take time off.

Your boss comments would scare the sh*T out of me …I would probably start having serious stomach issues. Good luck – exercise daily it helps

My superiors (the Controller and CFO) aren't CPA's and they are envious and make digs. However, HR, COO, and CEO are super supportive and proud.

While Mtaylo is a legend on here for some. His percentage pass rate is waaaay below average. Not sure I would seek him out for study tips.

shawn in VA, what part are you going to lose? The reason I ask is I recall reading in another thread you had passed REG in Q2 2017 and recently passed BEC.

Credits are good for 18 months. You shouldn't be losing either of those parts until at least the end of 2018.

    FAR - 75 | REG - 87 | AUD - 82 | LAW - 81
