I’d greatly appreciate you all sharing your thoughts on this…
Here is the situation:
*GF and I live in CA and we are moving out of State in October to Nevada or Arizona.
*I have passed FAR, AUD, BEC and am waiting on my REG score. First credit expires February 2019.
*I have passed CA Professional Ethics and have already turned in my general experience (1 year)
signed form to the CBA.Based on what I can tell, Nevada (first choice) does not have general experience, only public 2 years and gov’t 4 years, but it looks like they have an original certification method where you can use CPA on certain designations in the interim. Arizona (second choice) looks to be similar to California.
Here in sunny CA, the CBA is taking 4-6 months to process license applications, even if I pass 6.28 I may not be approved in time. If I am fortunate enough to pass that last part soon, whether 6.28 or in September, should I apply in the State we move to and forego attempting to apply in CA?
Attempting to wrap my head around the variables!
