I’d greatly appreciate you all sharing your thoughts on this…

    Here is the situation:

*GF and I live in CA and we are moving out of State in October to Nevada or Arizona.

*I have passed FAR, AUD, BEC and am waiting on my REG score. First credit expires February 2019.

*I have passed CA Professional Ethics and have already turned in my general experience (1 year)
    signed form to the CBA.

Based on what I can tell, Nevada (first choice) does not have general experience, only public 2 years and gov’t 4 years, but it looks like they have an original certification method where you can use CPA on certain designations in the interim. Arizona (second choice) looks to be similar to California.

Here in sunny CA, the CBA is taking 4-6 months to process license applications, even if I pass 6.28 I may not be approved in time. If I am fortunate enough to pass that last part soon, whether 6.28 or in September, should I apply in the State we move to and forego attempting to apply in CA?

Attempting to wrap my head around the variables!

I am registered in the State of TN and now live in Ohio. Once I pass all exams I plan on applying for TN and then transferring my license to Ohio. It might be easier to transfer a license to your current State than starting an application process all over. There are directors in my office that have licenses from out of state. I do not think it really matters to be honest, unless your employers requires that your license be for the State you currently reside in.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.
