After 2 fails, I finally received my 3rd attempt BEC score this morning – 78! So happy right now. For those who may not have conquered a section this time around, don’t give up. You can/will do this and I’m rooting for you!!

I prayed a lot to St. Joseph of Cupertino and he certainly answered my prayers. Give it a try and have faith in him and God. 🙂

Congratulations!!! I know you must feel amazing! I am visualizing myself feeling the same way as I'm studying for BEC. I never imagined it would be tougher than REG (for which I prayed a lot to St. Joseph of Cupertino and passed the first time – love him!). Any tips or advice for things on the exam? I feel like I am spinning in circles and not retaining anything!!!

St. Joseph of Cupertino is the patron saint of air travelers, aviators, astronauts, people with a mental handicap, test takers and poor students. I think we could all use his help.

Cjc… I had a real hard time retaining info for BEC. I think because it does not deep dive anything and keeps you moving. I chose to study for an excrutiatingly long time to make it all stick. I will repeat the phrase that best describes it. Mile wide, inch deep. For me repitition was key. Get through everything once and as you repeat it will start sticking. Don't let the delay discourage you.

@monikernc Thank you for the tips. I just rescheduled it for another month. I think I need the extra time, but I need to lay out a specific study plan for myself. What worked for me with REG does not seem to be working this time. Ugh!

@cpagal – I also pray DIRECTLY to God, every single night and day. Although my focus of those prayers are the more important things in life such as the health and happiness of my family and friends. Thanks for the advice though…

Praying is good, but I am sure the studying was added somewhere.This exam is not something you'll just know or sound out, or even guess to a 75. There is absolutely nothing wrong with praying, but faith without works is dead. The real advice here is to study, focus, and don't give up.
