Hi, I watched some videos on Reg by Miles CPA Review and I really liked it. the instructor explains the materials in details and I didnt get lost while watching. I contacted them and checked their website. I can order the textbooks, online test bank, and their online videos. however the online access for just 12 months. The instructor gives live lectures in India and he seems popular there. I didnt mind the accent because the information finally clicked with me! Have anyone tried this review course? I am about to order it, but need some feedback..thanks!!

I liked his lectures quite a bit. He is emulating Roger's CPA style. Am not sure about the sense of humor. But it does deliver the message we need.

I watch his videos on youtube and think he's pretty enjoyable to watch as far as CPA review material goes.

Seems like Roger Phillips style and I agree the accent doesn't distract much at all.

I haven't used his material.

New review course???? Do we really need another one out there? I mean it's a free country, and it's free enterprise, but I don't think I could even consider ANOTHER review course. I hope it helps someone to pass.

I didnt buy a review material yet, and I am looking for whatever will work for me to study..if its a brand new course that will explain the concepts in a clear and detailed manner, I will buy it!! I think it helped others outside the US pass the cpa exam

@Amor, I am really asking if anyone has an experience with this review material! If I am promoting for it, I would do a better job I guess!

I used his Youtube videos for REG, and liked him a lot. He is certainly up there with Roger. And he teaches US GAAP, which is useful for the CPA exams. He does have an accent, but what does that matter? He's a good teacher. Having said that, I wouldn't buy his full course until there is more legitimacy in the market. There are too many other solid courses…

@Last chance CPA, I liked his Reg explanation alot too. I agree with you about him not having alot of legitimacy here. the problem I am having with Roger is that he is too fast for my understanding and his writing on the white board is not clear and a bit scattered.. still, i may consider him, since he has a great review.
when I contacted Miles, he sells the 4 parts in one set and he doesnt sell individual sections. I would prefer to buy one part to try and see if I will pass an exam with. I am currently reviewing FAR from Wiley book, but its not an updated material. I want to familiarize myself with alot of concepts
I just need to get moving and chose a review material.
which materials did you use? How long did it take you to pass? Thanks!

I would strongly suggest staying away from this company. They never provided all the material promised and keep lying about issuing a refund. I also have all the screen shots, pretty sad that they are in business.

@c10th, I didnt know there is a refund. I know the online access for the lectures and the practice questions is for just one year, which I dont like. I just like his lectures, but i have no idea about his books, support or practicing questions. can you clarify a bit more?thank you!

A refund as in they did not provide the product to me. They said they had created a test bank when they actually did not at the time. Now it is impossible to get my refund back and they ignore my messages and emails. When they do answer, it's with an excuse.

Sorry if it wasn't clear I meant a refund for the purchase . I would strongly recommend staying away from this company. Even the Vice President Vasudevan avoids giving me a refund . It would take to long to get into details , but they sold me a product they did not have and took my money .

@MAEM – I used all kinds of materials. I primarily used CPAExcel and WTB for FAR, but then added Ninja products after FAR. For REG, I used CPAExcel, WTB, Ninja Notes/TB, Roger Cram, and Gleim TB/SIMs. I also used Miles and other videos on Youtube, and also used CPAReviewforFree.

I took me over 2 years to pass the exams. I went to the brink of my 18 month expiry. However, I have no accounting experience, so I think I did well.
