Would you show that you passed the CPA exams, but still need 18 credits and the hours of exerience. I don’t have any exerience at the moment and graduated in 2012. I will have the 150 credits by end of August.

How and where would you show that you passed if you were to include it?

Just write a little something and put it in the summary section.

CPA Candidate in the state of XX with all exams passed. I am working towards finalizing the education requirements (will have 18 credits by the end of Aug 2016) and the experience requirements to be come a licensed CPA in XX (state).

Or maybe make it a little more personable?

“The hard part is over! I have passed all four parts of the CPA Exam and I am now working towards finalizing the education requirement (will have 18 credits by the end of Aug 2016) and the experience requirement to become a licensed CPA in the state of XX.”

maybe just add when that experience requirement will be met? Maybe even “plan to be licensed by xx/xx/xx”??

However, I know some states are picky about what you can and can't say about being a CPA or CPA candidate. Texas comes to mind.

You could keep it brief. You could say something like “CPA exam passed; license pending due to education requirements.”

What would you add to this summary to show that you are looking for a job and expierence. i have none at the moment. “CPA Candidate in the state of Pennsylvania with all exams passed. I am working towards finalizing the education requirements (will have 18 credits by the end of August 2016).”

I suppose you could do something like this. And of course, you can substitute the “tax” for whatever industry you want. And if you are beyond entry level, you can change too.

“CPA candidate in the state of Pennsylvania, seeking an entry level position in tax. Passed all sections of the exam; CPA license pending due to education requirements. Estimated completion date is August 2016.”
