I apologize if a similar version of this question has been asked before. I have one more day to study for FAR before my test on Monday. Should I spend time doing more sims? I’m wondering because my feeling is it’s a bit of a waste of time since you can’t predict what areas of the thousand possibilities they might decide to test on, so I can’t possibly be ready for every possible simulation they might throw at me.

Should I just hit more MCQs and review governmental which I hate btw?

I'm in the same boat, test on Monday. I thought about hitting Sims as well but decided there was more to gain from doing 160 MCQs throughout the day than struggling through 10-15 Sims.

Government. Nonprofit. IFRS vs GAAP. Hit those three areas hard. Someone else on here just took FAR recently and reported that their exam had about 50% on those topics.
I wouldn't review SIMs unless they were on those topics.

I think there is a lot of value in doing SIMs since they pull a lot of information together. With one day left before the exam I would at least look over SIMs for the topics that are not your strongest, print solutions and review.

I spent my last day before the exam doing practice exams. I had Roger, so I got up early and did 3 simulated exams. I set them up by testing over all topics, but by that point I didn't have any glaring problem areas. It's obviously up to you, but even more important than what you study is get some good quality sleep. I made sure I was done by 5 or 6pm the night before. I then watched a movie, made myself a good dinner, and got 8 or 9 hours of sleep. Do not burn yourself out. Good luck!

Thank you, everyone! I'm working more MCQs in areas I struggle in. I still need to review governmental accounting. I'm going to try to follow @Namstut‘s advice and work through some sims later in areas that I would struggle in the most.

@jdn9201, I know with BEC, by 8pm the night before my test, my anxiety was so high, studying was pretty useless. My plan tonight is to quit between 7-8pm and watch Parks and Rec on Netflix.
