    Hey everyone,

    Just wanted to start a post talking about the struggles that most of us go through when taking the CPA exam. I feel like most people do not talk about it but most of us go through it. I currently have only REG left but I feel like I have nothing left to give..terrible anxiety and isolation. ..feel free to post anything you are currently dealing with or have been through.

    Keep going as far as you can, but if your brain/body is screaming for holy mercy, don't ignore it. I studied for 13 months with no days off and my rewards for that were three failed exam sections.
    I was going to do REG right after BEC but decided to take the rest of the year off. The brain can get very overloaded very easily in this process and it's easy to lose perspective, as well as sanity. I started a new job in August and I wasn't about to combine the rigors of a new job with studying. No f***ing way. There's a lot of “keep on trucking and don't stop” posted on here but sometimes stopping is necessary. Unless you're very close to passing all 4 and are going to start losing credit for them soon, but that's a different story. Bottom line, listen to your body and dont drive yourself to drink over these rather dispensable accounting tests. Heck, let a credit lapse and retake it later. If you passed it once, you can do it again.

    Thanks, Superdude3000!

    @eas0014:
    Doing cumulative tests right from the beginning would have helped you to remember the topics at the beginning.

    At this point, do lot of practice tests. Do more on topics for which you got lowest scores. Read your book/notes, listen to audios & watch videos if needed. Keep doing practice tests covering all topics. Your scores will improve when you review more. Four weeks is still lot of time. Study smartly & use the remaining time effectively. Good Luck!
