hello guys , im new here and took my far exams , this is the second time im taking the far exams and i failed the last time by 1 mark , ie i got 74 , the first testlet was pretty tough and they asked lots of difficult questions from government accounting , the second testlet was way harder and i think i kind of screwed it up and the third testlet was bit easy with lots of theory questions , does that mean my second testlet was bad , i kind of studied well for my exams and i can swear the first and second testlet was pretty difficult , the sims were fine and i think i got the research questions , did anyone here experience this before , last time when i faled the second testlet and the sims were pretty hard

Nobody knows anything.. and you know better.

Just relax and wait for score release, nothing you can do now after the exam.

Move on and prepare for other exam.

FAR - 83 (Jan 2016)
Study time: 6 weeks
BEC - 87 (April 2016)
Study time: 2 weeks
AUD - 92 (July 2016), (74 Feb 2016), (72 May 2016)
Study time: 4 (Feb) + 2 (May) + 3 (July) = 9 weeks total
REG - (70 April 2016)

CPA uses Item Response Theory to calculate your score. If your questions are easy, you may need to answer 90% correct in order to get a pass. If you see difficult questions in your exam, you may only need to answer 60% correct in order to get a pass. So It may not be as bad as you think.

Also there is a certain portion of questions that is not counted to your score. So you may answer all of them incorrectly and feel like shit, and turns out you get a 99 in the exam.

I got a 95 in FAR but there is no way in hell I get 95% answer correctly. And I honestly was worry about fail like you do right now.
