To anyone who passed the exam with a score of between 75-80, would you say that you missed a decent amount of of MCQ’s and missed a decent amount of boxes on your sims? Or were you still relativity perfect and only missed a few MCQ’s and sim boxes here and there?

For AUD I did average on the MCQs and better on the SIMs and for FAR vice versa. For REG I did below average on the SIMs and got over 90% on the MCQs though. You may get lucky and the ones you missed were just the pretest questions that don't count.

How would you know how you did if you passed?

The CA CBA posts your test results and it gives you a breakdown of your score. It shows what areas you did average = 75-80% and areas you did weaker than or better than average. You get the breakdown by SIM vs MCQ and by each tested topic and you can essentially back into an estimate based on your final total score %. So in my case for REG, for example, I got weaker than average on SIMs vs better than average on MCQs. If I got less than a 75% on SIMs I know that I had to get at least over 90% on MCQs in order to have gotten an 82% in total. Does NASBA or the other state boards not provide the same breakdown of your score?

@Bigstakk Nope. NASBA only gives you breakdown if you failed.
