Just over two weeks until AUD and feeling pretty good

Granted, I am nervous as heck simply because this is my last exam…but I’m 67% through Ninja MCQ Adaptive Learning and trending 83% with an average of 76%. I should hit the review stage in less than a week, which will leave me another week to maybe work SIMS (I don’t usually), and re-read Ninja notes one or two more times, maybe even do some of the Wiley test bank. For me, the three weeks before the exam are the most important time, with a tremendous amount of my confidence riding on that darn trending score.

I’m so beyond ready to get this thing over with. There is a lot riding on this exam, and here’s hoping that I go 4 for 4.

I'm feeling the same, so ready to be over with. My exam is next Saturday and I'm 63% through adaptive and trending 84% with an average of 80%. I'm still cranking out on those MCQs and reading the standards.

Make sure you practice some sims. Know the purpose of all the ratios and how they affect the financial statements. You will most likely get 1 or 2 FAR related sims so brush up on adjusting entries. Make sure you give yourself at least 2 hours for the sims so you can utilize the AL. Browse through the standards so you know where to look and don't waste time searching. Good luck!

Thanks Respect. Definitly will review my FAR book and relearn the ratios again.

Thanks Respect. Definitely will review my FAR book and relearn the ratios again. Because of my hearing impairment, I get double time on the exam. I know, I'm lucky but I much rather get my hearing back than have double time.

Im in the same boat as you guys. Averaging 78, I was trending 85 but did bad on a couple mcq sessions so im at 82 now. Im not really sure how you guys figure ‘how far into the adaptive hase' you are but hopefully I hit around 5-6000 mcq's. I noticed when I do that many, I pass. Im around 2450 right now.

I also need to hit the sims hard though. I've been weaker in sims in all of my other exams excluding BEC (FAR twice, and REG).

On the dashboard, there's an orange line that shows “Assessment, Adaptive Learning, Review.” Hover the pointer over the line and it will show the percentage. Right now, I am at 2141 questions, 40 hours. I'm hoping to get 3000 before exam day.

I'm taking audit on the 29th, I don't feel very good about it right now though. I haven't taken FAR so I'm not sure how to prepare for the sims. Good luck everyone!

Im just curious, how many MCQ's do you guys do per day?

I try to do 150 per week day and im *trying* to do 300 per day on the weekends. So far, the most I can do on the weekends is like 240.

I shoot between 90-120. After 120, my brain starts to fry and I don't grasp the material much. After I do the questions, I go back and write down what I got wrong and refer to the Becker book or read the reference to the standards.

Allison, no one ever feels good or prepared going into the testing center. You need to trust and believe in yourself. Let's get it done!

Depends on the section. For FAR, 120 was my absolute max. For the other sections, AUD included, 120 is my minimum. Usually its 150-210 a day.

Didn't have a good session today. Did 120 just now and dropped to 83%. I'm not feeling very focused today. I must be tired as if I try to read, I get sleepy. I'll take a break and maybe do 60 questions to test myself again.

How many days do you guys think you need to do review for AUD? I have not got into adaptive learning yet (I am only at Auditing and Attestation: Understanding the entity and its environment). I have 19 days for my exam. I am pondering to re-schedule and if I do will have to take in October. I thought of re-scheduling is bugging me so much. It really bothers me due to lot of personal reasons I have not been able to put too much time in studying for AUD since I started studying for it on August 10. Do you guys think it's doable? I work full-time and have family w/kids.

I failed FAR. I pushed AUD to October (I was going to do it whether pass or fail on FAR). Just devastated with FAR. I am going to take FAR at the end now. Need some motivation by passing at least one.
