I have been told the UK is seeking accountants. I have dual citizenships. I still havent got a great job after 3 years of working. Is it easy to get a Big 4 (or large accounting firm) job in the UK?

If they are truly in need I will likely start looking for a job in London to boost my career.

I worked at a Big 4 and part of my family is from england. You can get a job I am sure. However, their application process seems a lot more rigorous than in the US. My cousin wants to work at the same Big 4 that I was and I took her to the offie in Manchester to meet recruiters.

My cousin moved from the US to the UK a year ago and she got an interview with Deloitte and RBS. She ended up taking the RBS job because the assistant manager job at Deloitte paid way less than what she was looking to make. She had no public accounting experience when she applied at Deloitte.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

Thank you. I will look into it.

Do I have to live in the UK to get a call back from UK employers? I'm not sure if applying to a job in London from the states would be a waste of time.
