Based on recent chatter, it seems like this might be the case. It certainly was for me. I know we’ll get the tax guys and gals on here saying how easy it was, but us normal people seem to have a tougher time with this section. Thoughts?

I do tax and I have to say that it is not easy at all. I also do audit (small firm, we kind of do everything) and audit is not easy either.

    Far 10/26/2015, 64, 1/4/2016, 82
    Reg 7/10/2015, 60, 2/27/2016, 86
Aud, 5/9/2016, 74 (ouch), 7/26/2016, I cannot wait to take this test again
    Bec, 6/10/2016, 70,9/8 retake

I do tax and I'm prepared for REG to kick my butt. The tax stuff, sure, I can handle. It's all the investment questions and contract law I'm struggling with.

Heck, I've never audited a day in my life and passed AUD on my first try – and I won't be surprised if I fail REG.

    AUD - 84 (4/16/16)

I would say that FAR is called the beast because of the sheer amount of material compared to the other exam. I would not say it is fully based on difficulty of the exams because they are all hard and terrible.

    FAR: 63, 55, 62
    REG: 65, 77*
    AUD: Fail, 64, 71
    BEC: 72, 74, 81

I think REG is by far the hardest but FAR has the most material to study. And REG is the one where the answers can change between testing windows. The one I would say you need the most up to date materials for.

All 4 are hard, to be honest, keep doing MCQ until you have a feeling that you wanna vomit

    REG - 80 (02/13/2015) Roger + Ninja Flash Card + Ninja MCQ + Becker's Note
FAR - 84 (05/29/2015) Roger + Ninja MCQ + Some Wiley book questions
BEC - 77 (08/27/2015) Roger + Ninja MCQ + Half Wiley book questions
AUD - 87 (08/28/2015) Roger + Ninja MCQ + Half Wiley book questions

It is tough to say (objectively) for sure. I just took REG again and hoping it was for the last time.

    FAR - 77 August 2015
    REG - 60 October 2015, 73 May 2016, 75 July 2016

REG is brutal. I work in tax and this stuff is really hard. I probably think it is the hardest one because its what I'm studying right now. But I agree with others in that all of these exams are really hard in their own ways. Probably would have said the same thing about BEC a few months ago…

    FAR - 80
    AUD - 82
    BEC - 80
    REG - 85

    ETHICS - 90
    EXPERIENCE - COMPLETE

Reg was by far my most difficult section. Failed 3 times before passing with a 75. Passed Far and BEC the first time and failed AUD once.
