Just finishing up Section 2 in Roger for AUD and feel like he’s basically reading the book back to me. His videos were a big help for FAR, but not sure they’re necessary for AUD since it’s mostly conceptual and memorization. I’ve been watching the videos on 1.5 speed to save some time. Reminds me of the guy in the Micro Machine commercials from the 80’s lol.

    FAR: 75 Roger & Ninja (notes/flashcards/audio/MCQ)
    AUD: 73, 81
    BEC: 71, retake 8/29

I would argue that watching the videos for any section is a waste of time unless you really need some clarification

    A - 84
    R - 81
    B - 77
    F - 81

I used Roger and I watched every lecture. I'm pretty good at learning just from the book, but audit is very boring to me. Everytime I'd pick up the book, it'd put me to sleep. His videos kept me alert enough to absorb the material. I think he worked in audit as well, so his stories that he told did a good job at relating the material and helping me to remember it. I've read some people say that his test bank isn't inadequate, but I think it's fine. Many of his MCQ's are harder than questions on the actual exam. I never hit 1,000 on any section, and I think they did a good job at preparing me for each of my exams.

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16

@theunexperienced You must have felt good about FAR if you started studying for AUD right after your exam lol. I didn't do it for FAR, but I'm going to try and write the Ninja notes twice.

@tacctfin11 There are more MCQ per section, but you can get through them fairly quick as opposed to FAR. I've only done around 250 mcq, but I'm averaging about a minute for each. There were certain FAR mcq's that would take me over 5 minutes so don't get discouraged by the amount for each section. I just finished Section 2 last night, but I'm trying not to do all the mcq for each one right away so I can go back and do comprehensive tests with fresh questions as I progress through the material. I've been mixing in some mcq from cpareviewforfree.com just to see some different content. I'll activate my Ninja MCQ as soon as I finish the Roger book and use that as my main tb going forward.

I blew through the remaining roger videos I have, and now I have activated my NINJA MCQ. My goal is about 1500 MCQ between now and the exam. I hope i'm not making a mistake.

@tacctfin11 I'm kind of doing the same thing. About to start Section 5 today. I've been reading the book then going back and watching the videos at 1.5 speed and fast forwarding through them as I go. Roger's not doing much other than reading the book back to me so I feel like watching the videos isn't as effective as it was for FAR. I kind of had a feeling it would be that way since FAR is more hands on than AUD.

I am trying to figure out a way to speed up AUD. What are you guys averaging on Roger's MCQs without watching the videos?
