Absolutely. I gave myself 8 weeks for AUD and I'm thinking about moving my test up from 5/9 because I'm already finishing chapter 5 out of 6. If you have any familiarity with auditing from classes or anything, you will be just fine. I believe 6 weeks is the sweet spot for AUD if you're using Becker.

I agree with Olintos – Since my Audit class was back in 2013 and I work full-time, I originally gave myself 10 weeks to study. I actually finished the material in 5.5 weeks (Roger and Ninja MCQ), which still left a gap of 2.5 weeks before my 4/18 test date. As I progressed through the material, I moved my exam date up twice. With so much extra time, I'm struggling with burn-out and “race-horse anxiety” to just get out of the gate already. Now I'm forcing myself to work ~150 MCQs and a few SIMS every day to keep the material fresh until Monday.

6 weeks should be spot on.

Yes, I definitely think AUD is doable in 6 weeks. I knocked it out in 4 while working full time (began studying 12/1 and took exam on 1/8, but took off about 10 days between the holidays). I used Roger. Also, I only had one audit class in my entire career and do not work in audit. AUD is also very concepts-based – very few calculations, if any. Once the transaction and audit cycle clicks, and you understand the reports, the rest of it falls into place. I don't think it should be rushed, but I think people can make things complicated by giving themselves too much time, because they have to spend more time reviewing. Good luck!

AUD is absolutely doable in your time frame.

I finished audit in 20 days while working fulltime. I followed a rigorous study regiement of 4-5 hours a day, no exceptions or excuses though. Used NINJA & Becker and supplemented with heavy doses of Monster Energy Drink.

How's Roger material doing in AUD? Do you use any supplement material? WTB ?Ninja?

I have 2.5 weeks from today. I've watched the lectures for first 6 chapter and tried 400 MCQ. I am scoring around 70%-80% on MCQ. I usually give myself more time for preparation and have good result on REG and FAR. I'm not sure if I need to postpone the test.

    Any thought ?

I didn't use any supplemental materials for any section. I don't recall how many chapters are in Roger's book for AUD, Does your average include repeated questions? I aimed for 70%, but I never repeated any questions. If you are pushing 80% with few repeats, and are through at least half of the material, I think you are in good shape. I can't recall how many MCQ's I wound up doing – I think around 750. Time varies depending on the person, but just remember the longer you give yourself to study, the more time you're going to need to save at the end to review.

I only try MCQs that I haven't answer before, so there will be no repeated questions theoretically (tho some questions in the program are duplicated). And do I need to work on SIMS particularly? or just MCQ is good enough?

Hi marqzo – If you are anxious, you could try a couple of SIMS for the chapters you have already covered. I didn't do SIMS for AUD until my review phase. I think of SIMS as several MCQ's about the same topic, or related topics strung together. So, if you've really understood the answer explanations for the MCQ's, that should carry over to SIMS. I think I practiced more research SIMS to get a handle for the authoritative literature. You may have found this for FAR, but there are buried points in the AL – you just have to know where to look.
