Hey all, waiting for score releases and hopefully to be done.. in the meantime, could someone educate me on the ethics exam? These are a few of my questions:

    – Where do I take this exam? Another prometrics visit or…
    – When can I take this?
    – Does it expire at any point if I take it before I’m officially certified?
    – I saw you need a 90%, what happens if you fail?

I imagine the test is pretty trivial but I figured if I can get that done so I can get my license sooner after finishing the exams, I’d be a happy camper!

I want to begin with I am not in Illinois, have been considering transferring my score there if my managers can't find a CPA that can verify my experience.

Looks like from the IL Board of Examiner's website. It is an online self-study course you purchase from the AICPA (there's a link on the website) and complete at home. Costs about $150. Don't know what happens if you fail, but from what I've seen other people post it's open book and no time limit. There's also a phone number if you have specific questions.
