and are sitting in q2 of 2018, what is your strategy? Wait till the end of the window? Or take it earlier? I took my 3rd exam February 2nd, so I feel like I have been studying for quite awhile, but don’t know if I should keep my test date in April and just wait till June 27 hoping for the best(or studying more?!?!?!) or Push it out??? i dont want to wait too long with it as I am on the last ch of 8

I'm taking it 8 weeks after my 3rd exam (so early May). I will have to wait 8 weeks for score release, but I just want to be done and get on with my life.

I say wait til the end cause aren't they only releasing scores at the end of June? Unless you just want to be done soon or will be busy keeping you from studying as much, I say just take it as late as possible. If you're going to find out the same date whether you take it April 1 or June 10, might as well take it June 10 and give yourself more time to study. As for me, I'm hoping to take it June 9 or 10, but I'm in busy season so I won't start studying until after that. No point in studying during 70 hour work weeks.

@Nate I don't blame you! I never was one to study during busy season either.

I got one left (REG), and scheduled it for June 8th. I've started studying already at a pretty good pace despite the busy season (barely sleeping), but I have a 2 year old and a baby girl due April 23rd which also means any time before or after that (we also do payroll filing which gets jammed in right after individual tax) so I'm thinking I'll finish (using Roger's) the review course material itself (outside of the MCQs) by the time she's here. Between the new baby, family and tax season I know it's going to be bonkers for a couple of weeks at least so I wanted to give myself all of May to wind down and thoroughly review/re-review what I have to. Had it been any other time of the year I would have taken it sooner and people talk about “over-studying” but I'm doing my best to keep hitting topics whenever (I keep a MCQ window open on my second monitor – well minimized, to just hit a few when I can whether it's 5 or 10 in between returns/projects outside of study time).

Burnout sucks, been on 3-4 hours of sleep a night since the beginning of studying for this test and for some reason now it's hitting me but being so close keeps the fire going. Good luck everyone

I am taking REG in April against all good advice. June seems like the best time, not only because you have more time to prepare, but also because if you do fail you won't have time to forget everything for a Q3 retake.

I'm with Jen J though, time to hurry up and finish.

May is a good time to take it, study hard and leave it all in the testing center. Take June off for yourself and count on a passing score. Have confidence in your abilities as you have gotten this far.

I will be sitting for REG (final section) at the end of May. I will probably start studying in 1 or 2 weeks.

REG is my final section – and I am dreading it.

As you can see, I still have 3 more sections to go. I scheduled AUD for 4/27, and I plan on squeezing in BEC to take it on the first week of June, that way I can get both scores by the end of June in Q2.

If you don't have anything else to do other than studying for this last section, I would just go ahead and take it closer to the end. There is no point of rushing it.

It seems like most people (including me) who have one left are taking REG next quarter. Do most candidates save REG for last?

@nate haha good question. Mine kinda just happend. I was doing becker live classes, and REG was actually first and I failed last may, then it was BEC, FAR, AUD and i passed all three of those in that order like the class….so REG just fell last unfortunately…

I have audit left and it's my last chance to take it before…
    1. Becker expires in June
    2. BEC expires in August

If I fail, I'll have to get becker's promise (hopefully) for AUD and buy another coupon and schedule and pass before I lose BEC 🙂

    I BETTER PASS.

    Any advice for AUD exam??
