“You’re smart” [so are lots of other people struggling with this], “You’ll do fine, you’ve studied hard” [seriously, as if people who fail don’t also study hard?], “You’ve passed the hardest one already” [FAR – which may have been my easiest since it’s most related to my job], or to “Just do your best” [oh, well before you said that I was really just winging it but now that you mention it…] – I’m going to kick them in the teeth.
I know these people, including my incredible supportive boyfriend, and eternally optimistic managers, mean well, but this is not helping at all, especially given that I am still licking my wounds from a 72 on REG while going into BEC tomorrow morning. I just got over a slight meltdown that involved literal tears while looking at the Becker summary of formulas pages. I think now I’m going to go listen to audio on my weakest topic while taking a warm bath and hoping for a miracle. I’m so glad this space exists to have my little tantrums/vents with people who understand, I think it’s the only way I’ll manage to have any relationships left by the end of this thing.
