Hi guys, I’ve been studying 8-10 hrs a day as I prepare to take BEC in less than 2 weeks. All the studying makes my head feel like its gonna explode. Does anybody else feel like that?! I could really benefit from someone telling me they do. I need some support here :((

I once studied for FAR in 12 days and I felt like my head was going to explode. 8-10 hours a day still gives you time to do other stuff, assuming you arent working. If you need a break, take it. I was doing 12 plus hours a day and by day 10 I crashed. Even worse, I didn't pass. So, it is not the best study method, but can be pulled off in a pinch and with the right comprehension.

    Good luck.

ginx789, if you have time, you should try to run for 30 minutes. Im doing 10 hours per day too. I have been doing it for a few months already. I have been able to go over all the Tax chapters with Becker and Roger and around 4,495 MC questions. The main problem with these marathons is the lack of sleep. You tend to remember what you learn the day before, and is hard to fall asleep.

ginx789, YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I am currently studying for FAR from the time I get off work until I go to bed. And then all day on Saturdays and Sundays. When I'm scoring well on MCQs, I feel like everything is going to be okay. When I'm not scoring well on MCQs, I feel like my world is falling apart. Those are some pretty crazy emotional swings.

I studied Friday night after work, yesterday for over 8 hours (open – close at the library), and about another 8 hours today………yes I feel like I am brain damaged. Just took a first practice exam for REG and got a 65……..then took a Ninja exam and got in the 50's………. this is so discouraging how much I have been putting into studying and barely see any improvement. Then you look on facebook and see all your friends went out all weekend and they know to stop including me due to studying haha it gets a tad depressing honestly. I feel like I am burnt out to go to work tomorrow and have 13 days left before the exam!!!!!! ahhhhh and it is quarter/month end at work……….

Also @rlsrapp YES when I do well on the MCQs it's like I keep going and can't stop and feel so accomplished and awesome………then you get a 51 on a practice exam and it's like AHHHHHHHHHHHHHh so upset right now

Well now I know why I am feeling so helpless…..I know I know this stuff but my mcq's say different. No I am not doing well and I sit for reg 6/10….when my mcq's start sliding (dashboard) I feel like I am learning the material again. Ughhhhh, I don't know, I guess I'll keep doing the mcq's and going over notes. Something got to give. or I'll spend another 200 bucks :-((

    It begins with a 75

I agree with Martin. During the weekends when I study over 8 hours, I always go to the gym to do some exercise. It helps.

    Far 10/26/2015, 64, 1/4/2016, 82
    Reg 7/10/2015, 60, 2/27/2016, 86
Aud, 5/9/2016, 74 (ouch), 7/26/2016, I cannot wait to take this test again
    Bec, 6/10/2016, 70,9/8 retake

THANKS everybody for letting me know how you're doing ! It helps. I wish you all so much luck!!! And I'll pray for us all.

I started working out again these past few days @Martin and @Vanessachy cuz I started to recognize that I really needed it. It helps to have that break and empower your body.

I had stopped for a while cuz I wanted to focus more on studying. But I totally feel you @NancyD8 It sucks when you see friends enjoying themselves and you can't. That's why I deleted facebook, I found it to just be a distraction that always made me feel worse.

But yeah thanks again for venting everybody, it helps to know I'm not alone
