Concerning these 45-50% pass rates. Hypothetically, lets say everyone did awful on the exam in quarter 3, would basically the top 45-50% of the awful exams scores pass?

No one knows. We can only speculate.

As I understand it the exam reviewers are looking to see if each individual tester is worthy of practicing in the public. By virtue of that – it is likely that they wouldn't adjust the curve down. We know the historical seasonality of pass rates of the exams. We can see if/how much the change in format changes that. Data will help us take the speculation out of the question but it may take a year.

Just focus on passing for now 🙂
