    Good Day:

I have not posted anything in months, but the hiatus has come to and end. Again, I have another fail under my belt with a whopping 67, yippee! That said, I reached out to Becker on FB, but those Bumpuses have not replied to my initial inquiry, which I inbox 2 weeks ago. Anyway, I am reaching out to A71 family to help with deciphering my candidate performance report. I cannot connect the dots to the Becker Passmaster or the textbook. Below is the breakdown.

    Framework and Standards (17-23%) Comparable

    Financial Statement Accounts (27-33%) Weaker

    Specific Trans/Events (27-33%) Weaker

    Gov’t (8-12%) Comparable

    NP (8-12%) Comparable

    MC (60%) Weaker

    SIMS Weaker.

How do I find those “weaker” areas in the Becker software and book?! Thank you!

I can't speak to Becker directly, but here's a general answer for you:

Each of the topics you listed has subtopics. Go to the AICPA website to download the CSO's and you'll see what I'm talking about. Wiley had them in the front of the book as well – again, not sure about Becker, but you might take a look.

Each of the subtopics are what you'll likely find lessons on in your book and MCQ sets.

As far as the score report goes, tread lightly. It's a guide, but your retake will likely be far different than the exam you just took. You need to basically start over from the beginning and study like you need 75 points, not just another 8 to fill the gap. Get some fresh materials if you think that will help, but don't just study your “weaker” areas – study everything.

Hope that helps – good luck!
