How Should I Study for Audit Retake

I have to retake audit but I am not exactly sure how I should start to restudy. Have people found it helpful to re-watch the lectures or just focus on MCQs and simulations? I only used Becker self-study the first time and I got a 61. I thought I did well, should I consider getting the final review? What are they like?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

I did re-watch all videos and redo all mcqs, just because I retook me aud couples months after my first attempt. I also used becker final review which I found very helpful with all rules and concepts. I would pay equal attention on all chapters, and extra attention on the weak spots. I personally think they heavily tested on A2 (according to my two exams)

FAR-79 (what a surprise and I am finally done !)

To be quite honest I don't think a 61 means you have full grasp of the material. I had a 60s and when I went into the exam I thought I knew the material. For the second go around, I started from scratch. I also realized that I was not learning anything from the lectures. I ditched the lectures and read the textbook from cover to cover. I mad sure I could explain each answer question as to why the option was right or wrong. I scored a 73.

Sometimes getting new material is not the answer. Re evaluate how you studied. And then go from there. A final review may be great for someone that scored in the 70s but I think with your score you may need more than just a final review.

This post is one that I followed when I got my 73.

I think I studied well. I used Becker self study and went through 2 lectures a week. I devoted enough time and was very diligent. I felt like I studied the same for when I past the other three parts. I was doing very well with the MCQ, SIMS, and flashcards. I even made my own and reviewed them everyday during the review phase. When I went over the material I was definitely able to explain the concepts and know the important facts.

I don't know what happened when I took AUD the first time but I am not going to let it happen a second time.

I got a 73 my first time. I literally just did Ninja MCQ for the retake. I'll let you know in a few days how it went.

    BEC - 78 (August 2015)
    FAR - 80 (November 2015)
AUD - 73, 67. (Ok I gotta confess I was even more lazy this time around)
