I’m about 4-500 questions into BLAW on Ninja MCQ and it’s absolutely murdering me. Please tell me BLAW really only accounts for like 20% of the exam

    AUD 93 Jan 16
    BEC 83 Feb 16
    FAR 83 Apr 16
    REG 84 May 16

    99% Ninja MCQ only

It says 20% but I had a lot of b-law questions on my first try that I was unable to answer even the supposedly simplest ones. I did not have enough time for the review so I was not able to finish the 700 plus b-law mcqs on Ninja coz I spent the final 2 weeks review on taxes. They say to focus more on taxes. Ended up with a 73 with b-law as my weakest.

    FAR (Apr 2015) - 88
    AUD (July 2015) - 86
    BEC (Oct 2015) - 82
    REG - 73, 70, retake Sept 2016

Even if it is only 20%. If you don't know it, you will have to get nearly perfect on the tax questions to pass. I can tell you I had some tax questions that I had never seen in 2 MBA tax classes or Becker, so you can't afford to take Blaw lightly.

It was at least 30-35% of my MCQ. I can't remember if I had a SIM or not. Assume you will have to know it.

You have to treat B-law like it was GOV-NFP part of the FAR exam. I dont think many people could pass the FAR exam by skipping those two, and the same goes for Reg.

I second @melody_pinaycpa's post. Same exact thing happened to me. On my first attempt I only attempted 312 of the 750 BLaw questions. There were 475 questions that I did not see. Failed the exam with a 73 and BLaw was my weakest area. My SIMs were below average as well but I'm not sure if BLaw impacted that part much.

That said, I finished up all the BLaw questions not 20 minutes ago. 917 attempts.

Even if it's 10% you still gotta cover it all. Some of those questions can be easy and you don't wanna mess up easy points.

I actually didn't get many business law questions on my exam which was surprising since everyone else seems to have had a good amount of it on their exam

On my REG in early April I did not get much. I cannot say much but I would say AICPA proportion looked reasonable for Blaw. Do not spend too much time on it

Materials: Wiley book + Ninja MCQ

    FAR - 83 (Jan 2016)
    Study time: 6 weeks
    BEC - 87 (April 2016)
    Study time: 2 weeks
    AUD - 92 (July 2016), (74 Feb 2016), (72 May 2016)
    Study time: 4 (Feb) + 2 (May) + 3 (July) = 9 weeks total
    REG - (70 April 2016)
    Study time: 3 weeks
