If you work at a CPA firm, what percentage does your employer give you for each tax return completed? Does it differ for personal and business returns?

    Thanks!

I don't think this is how it works in the real world.

    -----------------------------
    BEC - 77, 03/2015 (first try)
    FAR - 79, 05/2015 (second try)
    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

I got 99 problems but the CPA ain't one.

Depends on if it is a commissioned job or not. Could be 20% corporate 30% personal.

I've never heard of someone being paid per return.

Salary, bonus, health insurance and 401k. That's how local, regional, etc. firms usually pay out if you are full time.

    REG - 10/12/2015 77
    AUD - 01/06/2016 75
    BEC - 01/16/2016 75
    FAR - 02/27/2016 68 Retake 05/13/16 70 Retake TBD

Your employer should tell you what the percentage is…some places give bonus after so many returns are completed. Ask the question to the hr if you don't know.

    It begins with a 75
