I came to know from my supervisor that they NY state Comptroller’s office checked my references on May 26th. Then I asked my other two references and they said they got a call too. All of them put in a good word but I haven’t heard back from the NYS since then. It’s been almost 10 days. Does anyone working here at NYS comptroller’s office knows how long it takes for them to get back at you? 10 days seems long. Should I be worried?
P.S they gave me a two month time after the interview and it’s been one month so far. Also I called them two weeks ago and they said, “they are still interviewing and I am under consideration” That time I didn’t know about my references check. In fact, coincidentally my references were called the same day.
