I passed my final CPA exam in July 2016. I took the required ethics course in December 2016. I was wondering if there is a time requirement for how long you have to submit your application for certification? I have not sent in any of the paperwork yet and was wondering how long I have to do so. I live in NC – if it matters.

There are a few states that limit the time from passing the last exam to get licensed (most have no limit) but even in the states that have an expiration it's years like 4-6. I don't believe NC has a time limit but I'm not sure
