How is the CPA scored?

So can someone explain, in simple terms, how exactly the CPA exam is actually graded?

    1) I know that testlets get harder if you do better- so the harder questions are weighted more heavily, meaning you can get less of them correct compared to easier questions..right?

    2) What type of “curve” exists and how do they determine the grading? I’ve heard that it’s not just a percentage of what you get right, meaning there must be some sort of relative curve.

    Thanks

AICPA has stated that there are no curves.

Feel free to do as you wish…my advice to you…just forget about it.

I went down this rabbit hole and it just made me mad/annoyed/frustrated after getting a better understanding of how the test was graded. What it dis do for me was give me even a slight step up over anyone else.

If you want the info, it's out there…but your time is better spent studying…
