REG is the only exam standing and I plan to use Gleim REG—Gleim told me they recommend me using Gleim 2018 textbook so they will send me that.

While I’m waiting and twiddling my thumbs, how is REG compared to FAR, AUD, BEC?

For me it was by far the hardest section. I passed it on my 3rd try thanks to Ninja MCQs. However, I'm sure there are plenty of people who will say that REG is the easiest section. I think that it all depends on your educational and professional background. If you're doing tax returns for a living, you'll probably find it easy.

I work in tax and REG was the first exam I passed. It was harder than BEC and AUD, not harder than FAR.

FAR – A mile wide but an inch deep
REG – An inch wide but a mile deep.

REG has a lot less topics than far but you have to know the topics on a deeper level. Before the recent changes to the CPA exam it was widely considered either the hardest or the second hardest depending on the person. Those who would rather have knowledge on a million topics but only know the basics found FAR to be the easier of the two. Those who would rather learn a few things extremely well found REG to be the easier of the two.

Completely agree with @Sunni above.

I like to focus on a few things but know them really well so I found REG easier than FAR (took FAR twice). I found BEC/AUD to be much easier than REG/FAR though.
