1) It varies for different exams. If there's math, I usually do lecture first. If it's mostly conceptual, I look at the book and read it first to get an idea. Watch the lecture if necessary. Also, during this time, I take notes on the entire section and lecture.
2) I do questions as I finish every chapter (note: DO NOT STRESS ABOUT THE SCORE AT THIS TIME, so much unneeded stress, you will BUILD understanding as you learn it)
3) As I complete multiple chapters, I do cumulative MCQ sessions (only new questions). I do Roger's and NINJA.
4) When I complete ALL the chapters, I tend to know what chapters I know I need to work based off the “homework” I do. So I go back to those chapters and review. During all this time though, I am continually doing questions on NINJA cumulatively (sets of 30) to refresh and retain memory of prior chapters.
5) I finish all questions on NINJA and Roger once. I rewrite all the chapters short-hand to retain more information.
There's more writing involved in there…
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved - Helen Keller
