I’m having a hard time with cost accounting. I don’t think I will ever be fully understand this subject.

What steps did you take to pass BEC? Is cost accounting huge in BEC?

cost accounting was my weakness too. well along with financial mgmt. it took me 3x to pass BEC bc of it, so for my 3rd attempt, i focused probably 75% of my study time to those 2 topics only. i was scoring comparable and stronger on everything else so i just needed to bring up the scores on my weak areas. i still didn't understand it very well but i squeaked by with 75. just focus on cost accounting using every resource you have to help you understand better/enough and you will pass.

I can spend 2 months on cost accounting and still not understand it completely. It's weird because I can follow along the lectures and it makes sense, then when I try the mcq it's like they're in another language. It takes me about 2 minutes just to read through them and figure out what's being asked.

roger has a free youtube video on variances and miles has some excellent free videos for bec out there. but if you have been studying that long for a retake and still do not feel ready consider a CRAM package
ninja mcq's are great. i also went through my cost principles book to review variances and other cost topics like ratios
good luck and don't be scared.
